I recently picked a blood glucose meter and figured you could help me with how to use it and understand the readings.
ReplyDeleteWhen you take a 1hr postprandial is it 1hr after you started eating a meal or 1hr after you finished the meal?
At the 2hr mark my readings are around 78-82. Does this sound correct for a non-diabetic?
I would be glad to.
ReplyDeleteI take my post-prandials 1 Hour after I have FINISHED my meal. As I understand it; blood glucose is highest 60-90 minutes after the meal depending on the nutrient make-up of the meal.
Your 2 hour readings are about perfect man, no worries with those. Any other questions just ask.
